A school district in the Providence, Rhode Island area is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full‑time, school‑based contract. This position serves K–12 students and focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaboration to support academic achievement and social‑emotional development. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate academic, cognitive, and social‑emotional functioning
- Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, compliant written evaluation reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support a safe, inclusive, and student‑centered learning environment
Qualifications
- Active School Psychologist licensure in Rhode Island
- Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
- Prior experience preferred
