Restoration Technician Responsibilities
- Assess property damaged by fire, water, mold, and weather disasters
- Clean and store salvageable belongings and property
- Remove and replace damaged drywall, plumbing, and related materials
- Perform water mitigation and extraction services
- Decontaminate and deodorize indoor space
- Repair and restore the structure
Restoration Technician Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- IICRC (Inspection Cleaning and Restoration certification) and WRT (water damage restoration endorsement) is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and in good physical fitness and stamina for cleanup
- Comfortable with using power and hand tools
- Must have great communication, listening, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with fieldwork, and working in all types of weather and environments
- Must be open to 8+ hour per day and overtime/weekend work
- Must have valid California drivers license
$22-25/hour plus commission up to $200,000/year
