An MSA Maintenance Manager (Operations) is responsible for overseeing all building trades, including electricity, plumbing, steam fitting, HVAC, or refrigeration. This role involves managing supervisors, leads, and maintenance technicians, and ensuring the completion of maintenance tasks such as construction, preventative maintenance, improvements, and repairs to buildings and equipment. The Manager will provide specialized expertise in at least one trade while guiding and directing maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and manage electricians.
  • Review and file all daily project reports.
  • Manage the completion of all electrical preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee installations and repairs as needed.
  • Oversee all facility electrical department operations.
  • Investigate and resolve any client complaints.
  • Lead weekly team meetings to ensure compliance with all electrical codes and standards.
  • Work closely with other facility department leaders and company executives.
  • Develop and improve departmental policies and procedures.
  • Suggest ways to increase revenues and efficiency.
  • Determine work schedules and assignments.
  • Set and track the departmental budget.
  • Manage inventory.
  • Manage, maintain, and review CMMS responsibilities related to the electrical department.
  • Collaborate with the Complex Capital group on complex projects.
  • Manage on-call electrical contracts, including vertical transportation, to ensure contract compliance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
