Job Description

New upscale cocktail bar opening on the second floor of The Assembly building in downtown Elizabethtown. Our concept will offer thoughtfully crafted cocktails and an extensive collection of vintage and rare spirits in an exclusively 21-and-over setting.

We are currently assembling our opening team and accepting applications for the following positions:

• Bartenders
• Servers
• Service Assistants
• Cooks

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Hiring and training will begin as soon as possible in preparation for our tentative opening.

BARTENDERS

We are seeking professional, personable bartenders capable of providing knowledgeable and attentive service while maintaining speed, consistency, cleanliness, and close attention to detail.

Previous bartending experience is preferred. Applicants should possess a working knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, beer, responsible alcohol service, and proper bar organization. An interest in vintage spirits and craft cocktails is highly valued, and additional menu and product education will be provided.

SERVERS

Our servers should be attentive, organized, and comfortable providing polished service in an upscale yet welcoming environment.

Previous serving experience is preferred. Applicants should be prepared to learn detailed cocktail, spirits, and food menus; communicate confidently with guests; manage multiple priorities; and work collaboratively with the entire service team.

SERVICE ASSISTANTS

This hybrid busser and barback position provides essential support to both the dining room and bar. Responsibilities may include:

• Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Restocking bar and service supplies
• Maintaining ice, garnishes, glassware, and other service essentials
• Polishing and organizing glassware
• Assisting bartenders and servers throughout service
• Maintaining clean, organized guest and service areas

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required. This position is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, motivated candidate interested in gaining experience and advancing within the hospitality industry.

COOKS

We are seeking experienced and dependable cooks who take pride in preparing consistent, well-executed food while maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen.

Previous professional kitchen experience is required. Candidates must be able to follow recipes and established procedures, manage multiple orders, maintain proper sanitation standards, and perform efficiently during high-volume service.

SCHEDULE

Planned operating hours are:

Thursday–Saturday
5:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

Scheduled shifts may include time before opening and after closing for preparation, setup, cleaning, and breakdown. Evening and weekend availability is important for all positions.

Relevant experience is preferred for all positions and required for cooks. Professional references are also preferred.

COMPENSATION

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Compensation will vary based on the position, experience, qualifications, and applicable tip structure.
