Job Title: Credentialing Specialist
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-Month Contract with possible extension
Pay Rate: $25- $31/hour. on W2 without benefits.
Schedule: Monday -Friday 8:30 am- 5 pm AZ time

Role Summary:
The Credentialing Specialist supports pharmacy credentialing and recredentialing activities by reviewing submissions, performing primary source verification, maintaining accurate documentation, and resolving pharmacy inquiries. This safety-sensitive, hybrid role is based in Scottsdale, AZ and requires strong data entry accuracy, heavy use of MS Office (especially Access), and professional communication with pharmacies via phone, email, and fax.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pharmacy credentialing and recredentialing activities, including reviewing submissions and completing primary source verification.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate credentialing data and documentation using MS Outlook, Excel, and Access.
- Monitor and manage high volumes of incoming emails and respond to pharmacy inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Communicate directly with pharmacies via phone, email, and fax to resolve credentialing issues and provide technical support for questionnaire submissions.
- Support training and onboarding requirements and complete additional duties as assigned in a hybrid work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–3 years of related experience in pharmacy or provider credentialing, verification, or similar healthcare administrative work.
- High data entry accuracy and speed, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience interacting directly with pharmacies or healthcare providers.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule and attend onsite training or meetings at the Scottsdale, AZ office as required.
