Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry and Purchasing Clerk I to support the Applications Service and Project Management team. This individual will be responsible for data entry, contract auditing, and purchasing functions. The role will begin with data and contract work and transition into procurement, including purchase order submission, invoice tracking, and BOM management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify data accurately using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Audit contract dates and maintain accurate records in iProcurement systems.
- Prepare and submit purchase orders based on approved vendor quotes.
- Track and report Bill of Materials (BOM) lead times, cost updates, and part changes.
- Monitor and manage radio applications service contracts.
- Coordinate part shipments and availability with EMS factories and suppliers.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in quotes, invoices, and requisitions.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of purchasing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google-based tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in data entry and handling procurement systems.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience ordering parts or supplies from vendors.
- Excellent time management and punctuality.
- Familiarity with BOM tracking and materials coordination.
Work Environment:
- Office-based (cubicle setting), no travel required.
- Light lifting (under 10 lbs) may be needed.
- Ongoing on-the-job training (1–2 weeks per task).
