Position Overview

The HR Intern will partner with the internal HR team and assist in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple human resources activities for the company. This role offers hands-on experience across various HR functions and provides the opportunity to work closely with business leaders and associates to support initiatives that drive organizational growth and success.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding Support: Assist with new hire orientation, preparing onboarding materials, and ensuring a smooth Day 1 experience.
  • HR Communications: Help draft internal communications such as newsletters, policy updates, and wellness announcements.
  • Policy & Process Documentation: Support the review and update of HR policies, procedures, and process documentation.
  • HRIS & Data Entry: Maintain employee records and assist with data entry in HR system.
  • Recruitment Coordination: Schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and support pre-employment screening processes.
  • Recognition & Engagement: Track employee recognition programs and assist in organizing engagement initiatives.
  • Compliance & Training: Help coordinate compliance training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Assist in compiling HR metrics and dashboards, and provide basic data analysis.
  • Exit Process: Support exit interviews and surveys, and help analyze attrition trends.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage the HR inbox, respond to general inquiries, and assist with invoice processing and document preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Education Requirements:
    • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Experience Requirements:
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort working with data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.

Work Environment:

  • Physical & Social Setting:
    • Office-Based: Employees work in a professional setting with desks, computers, and meeting spaces.
  • Work Conditions:
    • Physical Demands: This role is based in an office environment with extended time sitting and looking at screens.
    • Work Hours: eligible for 20 - 30 hours per week
    • Travel Requirements: None.
