Sales Lead (Fast Growth Track to Sales Manager)

We’re looking for a hands-on Sales Lead who loves to sell today and wants to grow into a sales management role as we scale.
The ideal candidate is an energetic DO-er, not afraid to get their hands dirty to start, willing to own real sales results, while quickly scaling the sales teams.

What You’ll Do
- Hands-On Sales (Day 1)
- Work and close leads across multiple sales channels:
- Inbound leads, Referrals, PPC / digital leads, Door-to-door (canvassing), Truck-based neighborhood sales
- Manage and improve the current sales pipeline
- Set the standard for follow-up, professionalism, and conversion
- Build & Lead the Sales Team
- Help recruit, train, and coach:
- Telesales reps& Canvassing reps
- Track results by sales category and adjust strategy as needed
- Grow Into Management
- Transition into a player/coach role
- Own sales performance while protecting customer quality and retention
- Work closely with operations and leadership to scale the business
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5+ years of sales experience (inside, field, or hybrid)
- Comfortable being hands-on before managing
- Competitive, coachable, and data-driven
- Strong communicator with customers and teammates
- Leadership mindset — even if you haven’t had the title yet
- Home Services experience is a plus, but not required.

Summary
As a Service and Sales Technician at Weed Man, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the lawn care industry while developing essential sales and customer acquisition skills. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy working outdoors, and have a knack for building customer relationships. Not only will you help improve lawn health, but you’ll also play a key role in growing our customer base by identifying service opportunities and educating homeowners on the benefits of our treatments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lawn care services, including fertilization and weed control.
- Educate homeowners on Weed Man’s services and special promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Provide top-tier customer service, addressing concerns and highlighting additional services that can improve lawn health.
- Learn to operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect customer lawns to identify issues and proactively recommend tailored solutions.
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical expertise and sales techniques.
- Support the team in maintaining accurate service records and customer interactions to track potential upsell opportunities.
Qualifications
