Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position offers a consistent schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, with a total of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will help shape the educational experience and developmental growth of early childhood students on your caseload.

Qualifications:

• MDE Early Childhood Special Education License required
• Previous experience in special education, particularly with early childhood students, is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
• Committed to fostering an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions based on students’ IEPs and developmental needs
• Develop engaging lesson plans that promote academic, social, and emotional growth
• Track student progress, collect data, and participate in IEP meetings
• Work closely with other educators, support staff, and families to create a collaborative learning atmosphere
