Schedule: Full-time, on-site
The Replenishment Buyer plays a key role in managing the procurement and execution of material requirements planning. This position ensures materials are available to meet production needs while balancing working capital, cost efficiency, and warehouse capacity. The role also involves coordinating closely with production, warehouse, and supplier partners to optimize inventory flow and minimize disruptions.Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily and weekly replenishment orders to sustain optimal stock levels.
- Analyze product demand and usage trends to accurately forecast inventory needs.
- Monitor open purchase orders and resolve any delivery delays or supplier issues.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Review and adjust supply plans to reflect changing material requirements.
- Report on out-of-stock items, excess inventory, and slow-moving products.
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, and improve service levels.
- Provide occasional administrative and front-desk support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, material management, or demand/supply planning.
- Experience in food manufacturing or related industry (a plus).
- Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management processes.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
