An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to provide critical support in both long-term care and retail pharmacy settings. This per diem role offers a flexible schedule with daytime hours, making it an excellent fit for professionals seeking to balance work with personal commitments while applying their expertise in a supportive environment.
Location: Eagle Grove, IA
Schedule:
- 8:30am – 5:30pm
Responsibilities include:
- Managing medication dispensing and inventory for long-term care and retail pharmacy clients
- Ensuring accurate and safe preparation and distribution of prescriptions
- Counseling patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Participating in immunization administration programs (preferred)
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Active Iowa Pharmacist License or an Iowa Temporary License
- Immunization Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
