Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Kearney, NE, starting January 2026 through June 2026. The role involves supporting students across all grade levelsKindergarten through 12th gradewith a focus on enhancing their functional abilities and participation in the educational environment. This is a contract opportunity offering a consistent schedule with five days per week and 30-37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as needed.
- Facilitate functional skill development to support academic performance and daily school activities.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Active state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work with children across a wide range of ages and developmental levels.
