Job Summary We are seeking a Temporary Medical Assistant to support our OBGYN practice. The ideal candidate will have prior OB experience and will assist physicians and patients with both clinical and administrative tasks. This role requires flexibility, as the assistant will split time between Post Office Square and Copley Square locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Take patient vitals including blood pressure, weight, and pulse
- Room patients and prepare them for examinations
- Review patient health histories and update records
- Assist physicians with medical procedures as needed
- Restock and maintain supplies in exam rooms
- Communicate with patients regarding care and instructions
- Document patient information using Epic software
- Perform light administrative tasks as required
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in OB/GYN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (Epic preferred)
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Previous experience in obstetrics or women’s health settings
Certifications (if any)
- Medical Assistant Certification (preferred but not required)
Education: High School
