Exciting opportunity for a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to contribute expertise in a dynamic medical setting located in Meridian, ID. This travel position offers structured 12-hour shifts with a consistent and predictable schedule, ideal for professionals seeking balance and a chance to work in a level 2 trauma center environment.
Schedule & Hours: 12-hour shifts from 0615-1715 Shift days are consistent each week but not consecutive Call duties required: 2-3 twelve-hour shifts per 6-week period, including weekends and holidays (7a-7p or 7p-7a) Up to one stay late shift per week with on-call times of 17:15-19:15 (10s shift) or 19:15-21:15 (12s shift) 30-minute response time expected while on call due to trauma center status
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care in the operating room, maintaining patient safety and comfort Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient procedures Assist in preparing operating rooms and monitoring equipment Respond promptly and effectively to trauma and emergency cases given the level 2 trauma center classification Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
Qualifications: Current RN licensure with OR experience Strong clinical skills in perioperative nursing Ability to manage rapid response situations in a trauma center setting Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Flexibility to cover on-call shifts as required
