Accelerate Therapy and Performance is seeking a growth-minded and customer-oriented individual to join our happy, engaging, and passionate team as a Front Office Patient Care Coordinator and PT Tech. In this role, you'll play a vital role in helping people move, heal, and live to their fullest potential by providing excellent patient care and administrative support to our providers. This position is applicable for both our Concord, NC and Salisbury, NC clinics. Since we truly operate as one team, some coverage at either clinic may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, reflecting our customer-oriented approach.
- Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring efficient clinic flow and meeting patients where they are in their scheduling and rehabilitation needs.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address patient inquiries promptly with clear and compassionate communication.
- Collect payments and verify insurance benefits, maintaining accurate records and demonstrating initiative to resolve any billing issues.
- Assist with patient intake and paperwork, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and providing a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting a positive and inviting clinic environment.
- Collaborate closely with the physical therapy team to provide seamless patient care, embodying our commitment to teamwork.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entry, displaying a growth mindset by learning new processes.
- Provide some Physical Therapy tech duties such as setting patients up on modalities and assisting with back office duties, further helping people return to what they want and love to do.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in healthcare or customer service preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a happy and engaging environment.
- Sharp attention to details in all job aspects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, demonstrating initiative and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications, EMR systems, and Google Suites (being open to change and learning new technologies).
- Positive and empathetic attitude, reflecting our customer-oriented philosophy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies with a growth mindset.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
