Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Work Schedule: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

• Additional shift variations may be assigned based on operational needs

Location: Akron, OH

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to support surgical services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong circulating experience, with scrub experience preferred, and demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Circulate during surgical cases (scrub experience preferred)
• Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environments
• Monitor patient condition and respond to intraoperative needs
• Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific or compact)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room experience
• Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and sterile techniques
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Certifications:

• BLS certification required (AHA)
• ACLS certification required (AHA)
