Mobile Staff Solutions is currently searching for an experienced Industrial Painter/Blaster for our client located in Tampa, FL.

Pay based on experience $22 - 30 per hour.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Will ensure all coatings applications and in-process inspections comply with applicable standards and specifications.

• Operate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray guns

• Knowledge of various painting methods and applications

• Spray with consistent millage

• Prepare surfaces

• Mix paints to desired colors and consistencies

• Safe operation of construction tools and equipment

• Grinding, sanding, and polishing

• Painting, caulking, and sealing

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in painting and/or coatings in the commercial painting/blasting industry

• Experience and ability with conventional spray systems and airless spray systems

• Experience and ability to apply paint with a brush and roll

• Experience with epoxies, zincs, polyurethane, and high solids coatings

• Knowledge of various blast

• Experience in structural steel, bridge, and DOT coating requirements

• Must be able to read and understand coatings drawings, codes, and specifications.
