Job Description

Job Description

This is a traveling electrician role on one of three TDR deployment teams with each team being made up of two electricians and a spotter. Teams complete an orientation before deploying to project sites across the country. The hiring process moves fast. If you are a qualified electrician who is ready to travel and want to get working quickly, this is a direct path to consistent project work with a national contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations and field work as part of a three-person TDR deployment team
  • Serve as a qualified team driver when assigned — responsible for safe transport of crew and equipment to and between project sites
  • Execute project scope efficiently in commercial and industrial environments with varying site conditions
  • Complete required orientation prior to first deployment
  • Communicate job status, site conditions, and daily progress to team lead and project management
  • Follow all project safety requirements set by the company, the customer, and OSHA at every site
  • Support controls-related work on site if background includes controls experience
  • Maintain professionalism and reliability throughout deployment — teams are small and every person counts

Required Qualifications

  • Journeyman-level electrical experience in commercial or industrial environments
  • Must be 21 years of age or older — required to qualify as a team driver
  • Valid driver's license with a clean MVR — no DUI, DWI, or disqualifying violations
  • Available for orientation within two to three weeks and immediate deployment after
  • Willing and able to travel for extended periods as part of a deployment team
  • Comfortable working in a small team structure with limited on-site supervision
  • Must pass full background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Controls experience is a strong bonus — any team member with controls background stands out
  • Prior experience working on large-scale logistics or fulfillment facility projects
  • Experience in structured deployment or national account environments
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay rate: $30 to $50 per hour based on experience
  • Travel, lodging, and per diem covered for the duration of deployment
  • Consistent project work with a national contractor that has an active pipeline
  • Fast hiring process — offers frequently extended during or immediately after the first interview
