Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Las Vegas, NV, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract role spans from August 15 to May 15 and involves working approximately 30 hours per week at a single school site, providing services to a caseload of 35 students aged 5 to 17.
Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive speech therapy focusing on articulation, managing a caseload of diverse students, and conducting virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings on Mondays. Candidates must be proficient in writing speech IEPs compliant with Nevada state regulations and guidelines. The school attendance schedule is Tuesday through Friday, influencing the timing of student sessions and meetings.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC, CFY, or School certification)
- Eligibility and openness to working with Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- In-depth knowledge of Nevadas IEP writing requirements
- Experience in articulation therapy and working with school-aged children from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and associated documentation
- Ability to conduct virtual meetings effectively
