About the Role: We are looking for 1 Full-time (46 hours per week) Forensic Psychiatrist at Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center in the Bronx.

1300 Waters Pl, Bronx, NY 10461.

• The candidate would see 4 patients to begin with, with the expectation of working up to 7-8 daily.
• This is a fast-paced environment, and any Locum Tenens would have to be able to follow DOCCS and OMH rules.
• On grounds parking available but also accessible by public transportation.

Responsibilities: The role will entail managing a caseload of forensic patients, adhering to institutional rules and regulations, and providing high-quality psychiatric care.

Qualifications:

• At least five years post-residency.
• Past exposure to forensic populations required, minimum two (2) years.
• Forensic experience required.

Required Skills:

• Experience with forensic populations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of DOCCS and OMH rules.

Preferred Skills:

• Additional certifications in forensic psychiatry.
• Experience in a similar institutional setting.

Pay range and compensation package: $235.00 per hour. Malpractice Insurance is included.
