Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Shift: Nights (Rotating Weekends)
- Location: Ocala, Florida
- Facility Size: 323-bed acute care hospital
- Unit Environment: High-acuity CVICU managing ventilated patients, advanced cardiac drips, and post-operative cardiovascular and robotic surgery cases
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $32.00 – $48.00 (based on experience)
- Night Shift Differential: $4.25/hour
- Additional Incentives: Sign-on and relocation assistance may be available (case-by-case)
Are you an experienced ICU RN looking to join a high-acuity cardiovascular team in a leading trauma and acute care environment? We are seeking a dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse to provide expert, patient-centered care for critically ill cardiovascular patients within a fast-paced, technologically advanced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized critical care to high-acuity cardiovascular and ICU patients, including ventilator management and complex IV/vasoactive drips
- Monitor, assess, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Advocate for patients and families while ensuring confidentiality and compassionate communication
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations
- Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based critical care standards
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent ICU (within the last 2–3 years) experience required
- OR 2+ years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience considered
- Licensure: Active RN license (or eligibility for licensure as required)
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Certifications:
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS required within 90 days of hire
