Job Title: HR Generalist
Job Type: Direct Hire
Location: Peachtree Corners, GA (Fully on-site)
Shift: M-F, 8am-5pm
Pay: $60k+ (DOE)
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Post job openings and manage recruitment pipelines
- Source and screen candidates for open positions
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Partner with staffing agencies for temporary workforce needs
- Facilitate background checks and collect pre-employment documentation
- Conduct and coordinate new hire orientation sessions
- Support training coordination and onboarding activities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Prepare HR reports and tracking tools as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Monitor HR policies and recommend updates as needed
- Assist with employee engagement and recognition programs
- Support internal communication of HR programs and updates
- Assist in planning and coordinating employee events and meetings
- Coordinate logistics for internal and customer-facing events
- Provide backup support for receptionist and executive assistant duties
- Provide administrative support to the HR team
- Manage calendars, scheduling, and documentation
- Perform additional HR and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of HR experience including recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting both full-time and temporary employees
- Adaptable and able to manage shifting priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and approachable style
- Team-oriented with a customer service mindset
