Position Title: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) / Human Resources Manager
Department: Executive Leadership / Human Resources
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Utah, Nevada, Arizona (Hybrid/Remote with Travel as Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Exempt)


Position Summary

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) / Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing and leading BeeEnergy Inc.'s Human Resources strategy, policies, compliance, talent acquisition, payroll coordination, benefits administration, employee relations, organizational development, and culture.

As an executive member of the leadership team, the CHRO partners with company leadership to build a scalable workforce capable of supporting rapid growth in renewable energy, software development, artificial intelligence, data centers, cryptocurrency infrastructure, manufacturing, engineering, and commercial operations.

This individual will establish HR infrastructure from the ground up while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.


Primary Responsibilities

Executive Leadership

  • Serve as strategic HR advisor to the CEO and COO.
  • Develop long-term workforce planning strategies.
  • Build a high-performance organizational culture.
  • Participate in executive planning meetings.
  • Develop succession planning strategies.
  • Create leadership development programs.


Human Resources Operations

Develop and maintain:

  • Employee Handbook
  • HR Policies and Procedures
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Employee Code of Conduct
  • Organizational Charts
  • Job Descriptions
  • Compensation Structures
  • Performance Review Process
  • Corrective Action Procedures
  • Employee Recognition Programs


Talent Acquisition

Lead company recruiting efforts by:

  • Developing recruiting strategy
  • Posting positions
  • Screening resumes
  • Conducting interviews
  • Coordinating hiring managers
  • Preparing offer letters
  • Managing onboarding
  • Conducting orientation
  • Managing probationary reviews


Payroll Administration

Work with Finance and Payroll providers to administer:

  • Payroll processing
  • Deferred compensation tracking
  • Salary administration
  • Timekeeping
  • PTO balances
  • Payroll audits
  • Direct Deposit
  • Tax reporting
  • W-2 administration


Benefits Administration

Manage:

  • Medical Insurance
  • Dental Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Disability Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid Time Off
  • Leave Programs
  • Workers' Compensation

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in:

  • Human Resources
  • Business Administration
  • Organizational Leadership
  • Industrial Psychology
  • Related field

Master's degree preferred.


Preferred Certifications

  • SHRM-SCP
  • SHRM-CP
  • HRCI SPHR
  • HRCI PHR
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)


Experience

  • 8–15+ years of Human Resources leadership experience.
  • Experience building HR departments in startup or high-growth organizations.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership.
  • Experience administering payroll and benefits.
  • Experience with multi-state employment compliance.
  • Experience supporting technology, engineering, energy, construction, manufacturing, or software organizations is preferred.
