Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Licensed to perform radiology procedures as required for the state of South Carolina
- Proven experience operating X-ray and imaging equipment in a hospital or clinical setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of radiographic positioning, safety protocols, and image quality evaluation
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions and team collaboration
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accurate documentation and compliance with privacy standards
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with defined shifts (specific details provided during interview process)
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout
- Position and operate X-ray/imaging equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images as requested by physicians
- Follow all safety guidelines, including use of protective equipment and radiation safety procedures
- Maintain and calibrate equipment, reporting any issues promptly
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and coordinated care
- Maintain cleanliness of laboratory and work areas, in adherence with facility protocols
