Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Omaha, NE. This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Framing walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs
- Install or repair structural components
- Set doors and windows (including rough openings)
- Buildi temporary supports, bracing, and safety barriers Demolition of existing structures while maintaining job-site safety
- Install SEG fabric panels by hand
- Install trim, baseboards, casing, and crown molding
- Hang doors and install hardware
- Build or install cabinets, shelving, and built-ins
- Install stair components, handrails, and finish details
- Repair or replace interior woodwork
- Press the silicone edge into the aluminum frame channel
- Remove it by pulling the edge back out
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble & join wood & other materials
- Install structures, fixtures & fittings
- Operate a variety of hand & power tools
Responsibilities
- Must be able to read blue prints & technical plans
- Proven experience in residential and commercial carpentry
- Strong skill set in both rough framing and finish carpentry
