As a nurse, you will employ the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. You will hold professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. Additionally, you will coordinate patient care in collaboration with various departments while ensuring the protection of patient rights and confidentiality. Position Overview:Part-Time (2-12 hour shifts)Day Shifts (7am-7pm)Incentives for Experienced RNs:
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
Incentives for New RNs:
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
About Our Rehabilitation Unit:
Our Rehabilitation Unit, also referred to as Acute Rehab or Inpatient Rehab, provides a fulfilling career path for nurses eager to utilize their clinical expertise, make a tangible impact on patients' lives, and collaborate within a healthcare team. We deliver comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients facing neurological and other medical challenges, particularly those who have experienced a decline in daily living activities, mobility, cognition, or communication. Common diagnoses include CVA, brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations, hip fractures, joint replacements, and various neurological syndromes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment, including compact licensure, and must fulfill all state board of nursing requirements.
- Physical Requirements: The role necessitates the ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift, along with the capacity to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform job duties.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the specific position or unit, or must be obtained within the designated timeframe.
