Summary:

Works as a member of a team with other warehouse members to maintain adequate logistics reporting. Responsible for interpretation all logistic information and databases. Accountable for accurately tracking product flow from origin to final delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

· Oversight of dock personnel and field level logistics

· Optimize equipment utilization through efficient scheduling of shipments

· Communicate through Outlook, Excel, and Batch Master and answer incoming employee, customer, and shipper calls

· Ability to adjust to last minute changes in scheduling and communicate effectively with drivers and customers

· Collaborate with management to modify daily shipments to accommodate customer needs

· Effectively communicate with customers concerning operational and logistical issues, changing processes and work updates

· Ability to accurately execute shipping documentation process

· Act and communicate in a manner that will maintain a positive work atmosphere for customers, clients, co-workers, and management

· Practice safe work methods on a daily basis, always wear appropriate PPE and GMP attire. Be a leader in both areas.

· Other duties may be assigned as directed by management

Qualifications:

· High School degree and/or equivalent work experience

· 2-5 years of food manufacturing experience

· 2-5 years warehouse experience

· Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the organization

· Maintain accurate product, type, quantity, code date.

· Proper Attendance and conduct

· Work area is neat and tidy.

· Equipment is unharmed and functional.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

To perform all non-management job functions in the event of an emergency or when a lack of available human resources would create losses for the company.

To monitor uphold and enforce company policy and standards at all times when present in the facility.

Support the management team by being present for meetings and providing insight to upper management when there are problems in the operation.
