Process Engineer | Kentwood, MI
Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor process performance using statistical process control and other data analysis techniques.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and resolve production issues.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with process simulation software, CAD, and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex process issues and implement solutions.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R)
- Experience with automation systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated project leadership experience
