We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Gages Lake. This role is vital in helping K-12 students overcome communication barriers and achieve their full academic and social potential. Key Responsibilities
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive screenings and formal evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- IEP Development: Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Direct Therapy: Provide high-quality individual and group therapy sessions utilizing both "push-in" (classroom-based) and "pull-out" service delivery models.
- Collaboration: Act as a consultant for teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate communication strategies into the student’s daily routine and curriculum.
- Compliance: Maintain meticulous documentation of student progress and attend all relevant IEP meetings in accordance with Illinois state regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Illinois State License (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- PEL (Professional Educator License) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
