Job DescriptionPart-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Location: Ventura, CA
Pay: $55–$65/hr (DOE)
Our established, state-of-the-art dental practice in Ventura is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our patient-centered team. We’re looking for someone compassionate, reliable, and skilled in communication and clinical care.
Schedule
- At least 1 day per week (Mondays preferred)
- Up to 2 days per week (Mondays and/or Thursdays)
- Specific days can be flexible
- Hours: 8:15 AM–5:15 PM

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hygiene care: ultrasonic and hand scaling, debridement, prophylaxis, SRP
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
- Perform perio and restorative charting
- Follow sterilization protocols and operatory set-up/turnover
- Educate patients on oral hygiene
- Communicate patient needs clearly and professionally
Requirements
- Current RDH license and CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work confidently with anxious patients
- Ethical, dependable, and eager to learn
Preferred
- Prior hygiene experience
- Experience with diode lasers
- Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis
