Job Summary:

The contractor shall provide scheduling support to the operational units specified in support of approximately 54,000 scheduled events. Be able to schedule approximately 100-300 people while working in close concert with deployed operations personnel. Resources include academic, simulator, static aircraft, flight line and range support requirements. Contractor personnel shall be proficient and have direct experience in aircraft scheduling tools utilized by the supported units including, but not limited to, Patriot Excalibur (PEX), Britannica Fox and Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS and Puck board (i.e. a digital scheduling application to manage aircrew and mission scheduling). The contractor shall develop efficient solutions to meet site or MAJCOM specified changes to scheduling requirements, systems, and integration requirements.

Clearance:

  • Must have a SECRET clearance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience using aviation IT systems to plan, schedule, and execute SOF operations and exercises and demonstrated capability to conduct current operations, scheduling and training (to include range/airspace scheduling).

Desired Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience executing position duties.
  • Recent (within 3 years)hands onexperience using Patriot Excalibur (PEX), BritannicaFoxand Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS),Puckboard, DECAPES,SOFReady, and/or DRRS.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver a Simulator Utilization Report outlining lost/incomplete simulator events and other production reports, if loss of training or incomplete training occurs.
  • Utilize onsite operating instructions to conduct simulator, ground, and flight line scheduling. The contractor shall maintain schedules to meet operational unit and training unit needs. Scheduling support shall include the following:
  • Required to schedule training events on a daily, weekly, or as needed basis utilizing available resources to support academic classroom, flightline, flight training sorties/missions, simulator, ground, and non-training resource requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule events for Distinguished Visitors and resource requirements for other site functional areas requiring system time.
  • Assist forecasting, developing, and coordinating with various wing level internal and external organizations for the execution of local training requirements to ensure aircrews are scheduled for simulators to meet required currencies, defined as mandatory flying training to meet qualifications for combat operations, as referenced in AFI or AFMAN 11-2MDS, or AFSOCI 11-2 series, Volume 1, or the Combined Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) Taking Memo.
  • Schedule contract/active duty/reserve personnel for training programs at their respective locations. Must ensure 100% mission requirements are filled with no gaps in mission coverage which could entail solving complex problems and addressing last-minute changes.
  • Generate and disseminate daily and weekly schedules and make required changes (to include pushing schedules to EFBs if applicable). Schedulers must be able to work in a dynamic training environment. Maintain a file of instructor qualifications to permit backup of each instructional position so that normal leave, sickness, and other emergencies will have minimum impact on unit training and operations.
  • Ensure the schedule is published on timeline defined in squadron operating instructions
    • (OI). Communicate changes with affected parties within timelines prescribed in squadron OI. Support operations management, to include functions related to current operations, scheduling and training (to include range/airspace scheduling). Coordinate helicopter and fixed wing refueling, Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) ranges, aerial gunnery ranges, aircraft drop zone/landing zone/airport usage, hot-pit refueling, Functional Check Flight (FCF), SERE training, OPFOR support, medical support, Mission Sustainment Teams (MST), and other potential flying-type requirements. Coordinate and track daily schedules with room assignments to optimize use of buildings and equipment.
