Summary
This position provides coordination and inspection services for materials storage, shipping and receiving at a storage warehouse and laydown facility in Superior WI. This warehouse supports material storage and movements for company construction projects and inventory of operational spares that support operations and maintenance of liquids pipeline facilities. The position is responsible to coordinate and track material movements, inspect incoming shipments, provide direction to warehouse contractors, and coordinate with company Supply Chain, Projects and Operations teams.
Specific Accountabilities
• Maintain administrative control of all materials movements in and out of the warehouse facility
• Coordinates flow of material in the warehouse and laydown areas
• Manage material receipts and staging of materials for use by Projects and Operations teams.
• Verifies accuracy of material ordered on purchase orders and coordinates with SCM and Project teams to address material missed or ordered incorrectly.
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for material receipts and storage.
• Consult with Project Management personnel to determine disposition of surplus construction materials.
• Complete material inspections and submit weekly status reports
• Maintains contact with Supply Chain, Project and Construction personnel as well as outside vendors to discuss matters relating to the procurement and receipt of materials.
Scope/Dimensions
• Daily activities include safety awareness, warehouse management, material inspections, and review of material documentation.
• Coordinates with logistics service providers for material shipments.
• Provide direction to contractor warehouse resources for material movements and crane lifts.
• Ensure that a high level of customer service and communication with internal and external customers is maintained.
• Work within a team environment and as a contributing member on cross functional teams.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept in a neat, presentable condition and in compliance with OSHA and safety regulations

• Supply Chain personnel, Suppliers, Project Managers, Construction teams, Regional Operations personnel, External Customers, and Warehouse contractors
