Job Overview

Lil’ Breezy is looking for reliable, hardworking team members to join our fast-casual restaurant in Stanton. We are currently hiring for both Cashier and Line Cook positions.

Lil’ Breezy serves Hawaiian and Filipino-inspired comfort food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We’re looking for people who are dependable, communicate well, and are willing to help wherever needed.

Applicants may be considered for either position based on their experience, availability, and interests.

Cashier Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
Accurately process customer orders and payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Answer questions about menu items and assist customers with their orders.
Recommend menu items and add-ons when appropriate.
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and shift leads during service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked front-of-house area.
Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately.
Assist with restocking, opening, and closing duties.
Help maintain a positive and welcoming customer experience.

Line Cook Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to Lil’ Breezy recipes and standards.
Work assigned stations efficiently during service.
Follow proper portioning, plating, and presentation standards.
Complete daily food prep and restocking.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
Communicate with other cooks, cashiers, and shift leads during service.
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
Monitor product levels and communicate when items are running low.
Help maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For

Dependable and punctual.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to clean, restock, prep, and assist wherever needed.
Ability to follow procedures and maintain consistency.
Weekend availability is strongly preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant duties, including lifting and carrying supplies.

Preferred Qualifications

For Cashiers:

Previous cashier, customer service, retail, or restaurant experience.
Experience using a POS system.
Strong basic math and cash-handling skills.
Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required!

For Line Cooks:

Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food preparation experience.
Ability to follow recipes and food preparation procedures.
Experience working on multiple kitchen stations is a plus.

Previous experience is preferred but not required for all applicants. Training may be provided for the right candidate.
