Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (Onsite - Arlington)

Job Summary:
Salcomp is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong agency/headhunting background to join our Arlington manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, focusing on attracting top talent for technical, operational, and leadership roles in a fast-paced factory environment. Your expertise in proactive sourcing, candidate engagement, and stakeholder management will be critical to supporting Salcomp’s growth in the US market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Full-Cycle Recruitment:
- Manage the entire hiring process for Arlington factory roles, including production operators, engineers, technicians, and managerial positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
2. Proactive Sourcing & Headhunting:
- Utilize Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and industry networks to identify passive candidates.
- Leverage your agency/executive search experience to headhunt niche talent in manufacturing (e.g., lean manufacturing, automation, supply chain).
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical roles.
3. Candidate Experience & Employer Branding:
- Ensure a positive candidate journey from initial contact to onboarding.
- Promote Salcomp’s employer brand by highlighting our mission, culture, and growth opportunities.
4. Data-Driven Recruitment:
- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness) and optimize strategies accordingly.
- Use ATS (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse) to manage candidate workflows.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR and operations teams to align recruitment with business needs.
- Provide market insights and salary benchmarks to support offer negotiations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years in talent acquisition, with at least 1-2 years in an agency/headhunting role (manufacturing/industrial sector preferred).
- Proven success in hiring for blue-collar, technical, or engineering roles in a factory setting.
- Familiarity with high-volume recruitment and seasonal hiring needs.
- Skills:
- Strong sourcing and headhunting techniques (e.g., X-Ray search, competitor mapping).
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Knowledge of US labor laws and compliance (EEO, OSHA, etc.).
