  • Compensation: $47.63–$52.92 per hour

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Internal Project/Program Manager VI to lead critical enterprise cybersecurity programs from planning through execution. This role will manage complex, multi-workstream initiatives across Cyber, IT, Network Security, vendors, and business partners while ensuring scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes are effectively controlled and communicated.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of cybersecurity program workstreams, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Build and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and status dashboards.
  • Drive weekly execution cadence, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and leadership reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Cyber, IT, Network Security, vendors, and external partners.
  • Provide program management support for vulnerability management, detection and response, end-of-life/end-of-support initiatives, enterprise directory upgrades, governance, risk, compliance, lab assessments, and remediation.
  • Identify risks proactively and escalate issues with clear mitigation options.
  • Translate technical execution details, gaps, and risks into executive-ready communication.
  • Support audit readiness, evidence coordination, remediation validation, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Manage platform integration dependencies with IT, networking, and external vendors.
  • Champion large-scale initiatives that support long-term business and technology objectives.

Qualifications

  • First-level university degree required.
  • 15 years of experience in project management or related business roles.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity enterprise programs or projects.
  • Proven experience delivering large, multi-workstream initiatives.
  • Strong dependency, risk, stakeholder, and issue management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of vulnerability management, detection and response, network segmentation, IAM/PAM, RBAC, JEA, ABAC, and SailPoint integration.
  • Working knowledge of network and firewall security concepts.
  • Experience in audit readiness, evidence coordination, and remediation validation.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed IT infrastructure environments.
  • Strong comfort using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and status dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree.
  • Experience supporting red teaming, logging, tabletop exercises, lab assessments, and governance/risk/compliance initiatives.
  • Experience serving as a strategic program leader for highly visible enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions for complex, sensitive issues impacting multiple teams or business units.
