Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a school setting in Winston-Salem, NC. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for classroom strategies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP
- Experience working with children in an educational environment
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
