Job DescriptionSpeech Language Pathologist (New Graduates Accepted) - Suffolk County, NY

Location : Suffolk County, NY

Specialty : Pediatric

Setting : Outpatient

Job Type : Full-Time

Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized, criterion-referenced, and informal assessments covering speech, language, phonology, articulation, fluency, voice, pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, social communication, augmentative/alternative communication (AAC), and feeding/swallowing (when applicable).
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and functional needs.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluation reports, treatment plans, progress notes, IEPs or IFSPs, and billing records.
Communicate effectively with families, educators, physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists.
Participate in ongoing professional development, committee work, and clinical research as needed.

Education & Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders from an accredited program.
Hold a valid New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology (Office of the Professions).
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or willingness to obtain.
Prior pediatric experience preferred (1-2 years), but new graduates are welcome to apply.
