The Multifamily Investment Sales Associate will be responsible for sourcing, advising, and closing apartment investment transactions throughout San Diego County. This role is heavily outbound-focused, with cold calling as the primary method of generating new investor and owner relationships. The salesperson will also work with our existing internal client network and, over time, will have the opportunity to build and lead a sales team as the brokerage grows.
This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial salesperson who wants to control their income, build long-term client relationships, and grow into a leadership role within a specialized investment brokerage.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation

Proactively source new apartment owners and investors through consistent cold calling and outbound prospecting

Identify off-market and on-market multifamily opportunities across San Diego County

Build and maintain a personal pipeline of owners, buyers, and investors

Develop long-term relationships with apartment owners through regular follow-up and market education
Investment Sales & Brokerage

Advise clients on pricing, market conditions, and investment strategies

Prepare and present broker opinions of value and investment analyses

Market multifamily listings and manage transaction processes from listing to close

Negotiate offers, counteroffers, and deal terms on behalf of clients

Coordinate with escrow, lenders, attorneys, and property management as needed
Internal Collaboration & Growth

Work with the firm’s internal client base and property management relationships to identify sales opportunities

Collaborate with ownership to refine sales systems, scripts, and processes

As performance and volume increase, assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring additional salespeople

Help build a scalable investment sales platform within the firm
Qualifications
Required
-
Active California real estate salesperson license (or broker license)

Strong comfort with high-volume cold calling and outbound sales

Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred

Experience in multifamily, commercial real estate, or investment sales

Understanding of apartment underwriting, cap rates, and investment metrics

Prior experience building or leading a sales team

Familiarity with San Diego County multifamily submarkets
Compensation

Base ($40,000) + Commission with significant upside
-
Potential for enhanced splits or leadership compensation as production increases
