A well-established plastics manufacturing company is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our 1st shift team. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment and are committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Schedule & Pay:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

$22.00/hour

Position Overview:
As an Operating Technician I, you'll be responsible for preparing, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting thermoforming manufacturing equipment. You'll ensure production runs meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate equipment to produce thermoformed plastic parts

Perform machine inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning
-
Troubleshoot and adjust machinery to maximize production efficiency

Communicate product or equipment issues with team leads or other departments
-
Ensure part quality by reading product drawings and performing measurements
-
Complete required documentation and shift hand-offs
-
Operate a forklift when necessary
-
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
-
Maintain clean work area through regular housekeeping duties
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Machine and inspection experience required
-
Strong mechanical aptitude
-
Ability to read, write, and speak English to meet safety and quality standards

Basic math and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience in medical manufacturing environment
-
Familiarity with quality control principles and Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Good organization and time management
-
Basic computer proficiency
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 10–30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Standing for extended periods; bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
-
Comfortable working in a warm manufacturing environment
