Job Duties/Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with experience in creating a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts. The Baker will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that meet our company’s standards for taste and presentation.
Please note: This position is both full-time and part-time. Some weekend and holiday shifts are required.
Essential Functions:

Prepare and bake a wide range of bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and company standards.

Ensure all baked goods are produced in a timely manner to meet service demands.

Follow new recipes and presentation styles to enhance the menu offerings.

Ensures that the product quality, freshness, and presentation meet the appropriate company standards and specifications.

Maintain and exhibit a solid food knowledge and understanding of all food products– and is able to skillfully apply culinary and cooking techniques.

Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all baked items.

Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished products to ensure the highest standards.

Taste and evaluate products to maintain flavor profiles.

Assist in managing inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, assist in placing orders as necessary.

Organize, submit, and distribute necessary information and paperwork to staff members.

Ensure proper storage and handling of all baking ingredients.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules and service needs.

Provide training and support to junior bakers or kitchen staff as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
Previous experience as a baker in a restaurant or bakery setting is desired.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
Must be able to pass a Level II background check
Job Type: Full-time/ Part Time
Pay Rate: $16 -$20 (Commensurate with experience)
