We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator (Lathes) to join our client's growing team in Landenberg, PA.
Candidates will be responsible for the daily operation of CNC lathe machines, producing precision metal parts in quantities ranging from 50 to 50,000 pieces.
- Operate CNC Swiss-type lathes .
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances.
- Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Adjust tooling and offsets as necessary to maintain part quality.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
Job Requirements:
* Operate CNC lathes and Swiss screw machines
* Perform close tolerance machining to meet exacting specifications
* Follow production schedules and maintain quality standards
* Inspect parts using measuring tools to verify accuracy
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
* Previous CNC experience is preferred-but we will train the right candidate
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
* Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
* Strong attention to detail and consistency
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
