Job Description

Job Description

Our organization is a multi-specialty group practice with over 650 providers, presenting an exceptional leadership opportunity for a Fellowship-Trained, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist. This position involves joining a well-established team comprising three MFM physicians, a genetic counselor, and four sonographers. The selected candidate will provide leadership and oversight for our Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line, collaborating closely with both Administrative and Clinical leadership. This dynamic role allows you to influence and enhance our Maternal Fetal program within a mission-driven organization committed to making a significant impact on the communities we serve. The work schedule is a standard week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with consultative phone calls required on weekends; the role includes seven call shifts per month. The position entails a 50/50 split between Nampa and Boise, with a focus of 0.8 on clinical duties and 0.2 on administrative tasks.

The Labor and Delivery (L&D) rounds are multidisciplinary, involving MFM specialists, OB Hospitalists, L&D unit coordinators, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, and often nursing and pharmacy students.

As a military-friendly employer, we take pride in supporting physicians transitioning from military service to civilian practice. Our team includes several veteran physicians who are familiar with the unique challenges of moving from military medicine and are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment that empowers physicians to thrive in their civilian careers.
