Pay Rate: $30 to $35/hr (Based on experience)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift | Hours: 4 – 10 hour days, start times vary | Total Weekly Hours: 40

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Central Sterile Supply Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in York, ME.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize all operating room (OR) and departmental instrumentation according to established protocols.
• Clean, test, and maintain sterilizers daily to ensure proper function.
• Assemble pre-packaged instruments for specific procedures and surgeries.
• Prepare and set up case carts for OR procedures.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards.
• Assist in inventory management and proper storage of sterile supplies.
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely availability of instruments.
• Follow proper documentation procedures and report any equipment malfunctions.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of sterile processing or central supply experience preferred.
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CST) preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and hospital sterilization procedures preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and occasional on-call assignments.
• Compliance with state-mandated influenza vaccination (medical exemptions only).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
