Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sonographer role based in San Antonio, TX. The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound and imaging procedures to support patient care, including OB/GYN imaging, vascular imaging, and other diagnostic assessments. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring imaging quality meets professional and clinical standards. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient service.
Qualifications
- Certification or eligibility for certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in diagnostic Medical and Radiologic procedures
- Experience in OB/GYN and Vascular-related scanning
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Commitment to maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and regulatory compliance
- Previous clinical experience in a similar role is preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
