As a Triage Nurse, youll play a critical role in assessing patients as they arrive, prioritizing care based on urgency, and supporting our veterinarians in providing timely, compassionate service. Youll handle in-person triage, offering guidance and reassurance to concerned pet parents while ensuring that emergencies are quickly identified and addressed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial patient assessments and determine the urgency of each case
• Provide clear communication and guidance to clients in the clinic
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to coordinate patient care and workflow
• Support emergency and urgent care cases with efficiency and empathy
• Maintain accurate triage records and assist with patient documentation

Requirements:

• Certified Veterinary Technician/Nurse (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 12 years in a clinical veterinary setting, ER/triage preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• A calm, compassionate approach to animals and client care
