Connect Staffing is hiring a Technical Dispatch Coordinator for a solar inverter and energy storage manufacturer in Houston, TX. In this role, you will coordinate vendor dispatch for onsite service work, manage scope of work documentation, and track transformer repair and inspection projects from initiation through completion. This position sits at the intersection of field service operations, procurement, and engineering — making it a strong fit for candidates with a technical coordination or service dispatch background.
Pay:$25–$40/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities
- Assess incoming dispatch requests to verify technical feasibility and completeness before assigning vendors.
- Establish detailed scope-of-work documentation prior to vendor dispatch, including schematics, parts lists, and service history, where applicable.
- Optimize vendor schedules to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and meet service deadlines.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) for vendor services and verify invoices match services rendered, resolving any discrepancies.
- Track spare parts orders to ensure timely availability for scheduled vendor dispatch.
- Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, Field Service teams, and Engineering to keep service operations running smoothly.
- Identify recurring service issues and submit recommendations for process or quality improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in field service coordination, technical dispatch, or operations support in an energy, electrical, or industrial environment.
- Proficiency with SAP or a comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with transformer service work — including repair, testing, inspection, or replacement.
- Working knowledge of IEEE, NETA (InterNational Electrical Testing Association), NEC (National Electrical Code), or UL electrical standards.
- Experience maintaining field service databases, uploading reports and photos, and managing service records.
- Background coordinating spare parts logistics or working with procurement teams on parts needs and returns.
- Exposure to solar PV, energy storage, or power conversion equipment and terminology.
- Experience using service management platforms alongside SAP and CRM tools.
- Experience issuing Purchase Orders and managing vendor documentation.
