CNC Swiss Lathe Operator | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $56,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes.
- Perform in-process quality inspections using various measuring tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and engineering specifications.
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms, minor mechanical issues, and program errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform tool changes and offsets to maintain part quality and extend tool life.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and G-code
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles
- Ability to perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
- Experience with machine setup, tool changes, and offsets
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Esprit CAM software
- Ability to perform basic machine maintenance
- CMM operation experience
- Familiarity with GD&T principles
