Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage high-end residential construction projects, specifically luxury condos. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining compliance with NYDOB regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate workflow.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with NYDOB regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Resolve any issues that arise on-site, including personnel and scheduling conflicts.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports for stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in high-end residential construction or luxury condos.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with NYDOB regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
