Banquet Manager/sales
Soundview Caterers, located on the LI Sound in Bayville, is looking for a seasoned Banquet Sales Manager to join our team!
The primary responsibility is to sell events; weddings, corporate and social. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and party planning, as well as the ability to multitask.
<ul>
<li>Responsible for soliciting new business and maintaining current relationships</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Create contracts, menus and paperwork for the clients</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Follow-up with new and current clients to insure customer satisfaction</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Answer sales calls, e-mails and appointments and any other correspondence from clients.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Plan menu with client and any other aspects of the customer experience</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Communicate with other members of the staff to ensure flawless execution of events.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Attend internal events such as Bridal Shows and Holiday Events</li>
</ul>
Weekends are required. 3 Years of event sales experience preferred Events Operations experience is a plus **Please submit resume with compensation requirements to be considered**
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
