Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Logan, UT
Employment Type: Contingent – 12 Month Assignment
Shift: Night Shift, Mon–Thu; 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: $18.40/hour

Position Overview
As a Bioprocess Container Production Operator, you will assemble, inspect, and package products in a cleanroom environment. Your role will involve closely following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIDs), and blueprints while operating various tools and machinery. You’ll ensure the highest quality standards, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with your team to achieve production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble Bioprocess Containers according to product blueprints, SOPs, and WIDs
  • Operate machinery, package finished products, and perform product inspections
  • Use various tools and equipment (computers, assembly tools, measuring devices, pallet jacks)
  • Adhere to cGMP and all safety requirements
  • Conduct mutual inspection with team members to identify and correct quality errors
  • Accurately document activities in Production Control Documents (PCDs)
  • Participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean, and 5S initiatives
  • Assist with training and mentoring co-workers
  • Complete required trainings on time and follow production schedules to meet goals

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of production experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Reliable in following procedures and meeting team/individual goals
  • Physically able to stand, move, reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
  • Capable of repetitive and forceful motions using hand tools

Work Environment

  • Must adhere to cleanroom gowning requirements (gloves, hair/beard nets, etc.)
  • Cleanroom conditions: 30%+ humidity, temperature 60–70&degree;F, moderate ambient noise
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
  • Exposure to disinfectants, solvents, and isopropyl alcohol in accordance with chemical hygiene standards
